And it seems like the studio is not content with having just The One trilogy.
Warner Bros. is in the early stages of rebooting The Matrix according to a Tuesday report from The Hollywood Reporter.
According to an insider for the weekly, they even have their sights set on a potential leading man as they claim there is interest in Michael B. Jordan starring in the action flick.
The 30-year-old actor has big-budget film experience as he has starred in Creed (2015), Chronicle (2012), as well as the critically-panned Fantastic Four reboot from 2015.
As the original film brought the visual effect of 'bullet time' into the forefront of cinema, they are seemingly bringing out the big guns as the site reports that Zak Penn is in talks to pen the film.
