Phew!

Yesterday my computer updated to IE8 and I hated it. Annoying little popups, extra junk all over the toolbars, even the tabs got messed with...so I uninstalled it and hooray! it went back to IE7 without any hiccups.

This was the second year that I've skipped the fireworks show. I simply couldn't be bothered and I find myself more than a little irritated that the town spends so much on the show when our streets are rubbish and in a horrible state.

At least the lawn is mowed! Small victories.
