Snips and scraps of acrylic yarn

Today I was about to throw a little pile of snips and scraps of acrylic yarn in the bin then a thought hit me....   I wonder if it will felt??????  It did...   I made the brooch by layering a very fine layer of roving with the snips and scraps of acrylic yarn and topping it with another fine layer of roving.  Then I needle felted it.  Of course I couldn't stop there.  I had to see if I could needle felt a bear with the yarn.....
